PRAISE:

"The theme--that the most basic meaning of Christmas has remained the same over the centuries--is conveyed with a warm and captivating simplicity that even the youngest child will understand." --Starred, School Library Journal

"Gorgeous watercolor illustrations in a subdued palette of twilight grays set off the falling snowflakes in the modern scenes, while the biblical scenes are brilliantly lit by starlight. Castillo's smudgy style infuses all with wonder." --Starred, Kirkus Reviews

SNL - Women's Curling

Hope everyone got a chance to watch 'Saturday Night Live' this weekend. I thought Jennifer Lopez did a great job hosting, despite recently parting ways with her record label, as well as the a push back on the release of her new film, 'The Back Up Plan.' I believe she had agreed to host the show prior to any of the bad news, so there was no turning back...

Although I was called in to work on the ESPN Classic skit: Women's Curling, you wouldn't have been able to spot me due to the nonuse of wide camera shots. Nonetheless, i had a great time hanging on set with J-Lo and the hilarious Kristen Wiig.

SNL

This past weekend I worked again on SNL. Sigourney Weaver hosted, which was no surprise since AVATAR is so hot right now AND The Ting Tings performed two Indie Pop songs. The whole process is starting to become routine...I certainly hope casting continues to call! Check out the skit below:

CHEERS!

Cheers to a wonderful 2009 and to an even better 2010! Hope all had an excellent holiday season and got to spend some quality time with family and friends.

I went away for Christmas and traveled to Long Island, Maryland and Virginia with my immediate family...spent a lot of quality time in the car and in front of food, but nothing to complain about. This also happen to be the first year I decided to stay in the city for New Years, my first time to MSG and my first Mariah Carey concert. The ENERGY that came from being in the heart of New York City on New Years Eve and surrounded by hundreds of Mariah fans in one of the largest venues in the world was extremely overwhelming. Check out the countdown to midnight. Lots of glitter.

Wishing everyone a fantastic start... may 2010 bring great, GREAT things!
